Join us for Sunday School and Worship Service on Sunday!

If you have a prayer request, please email Pastor Eric at eswenson72@gmail.com

We are very excited to include our ASL sign language interpreter in the service and in the weekly broadcast. This is also a tremendous outreach in ministry that the folks at Bethel support. Bethel’s folks continue to support all the ministries and outreach missions – and we are grateful and thankful for that.

Where Are You Located?

Bethel Baptist Church
6370 New Carlisle Pike
Springfield, OH 45504

When Should I Arrive?

The worship service begins at 10:30 am and lasts for approximately 60-75 minutes. Driving into the parking lot 10 minutes before service should give you plenty of time to enter the building and find a seat. The service begins with one or two announcements, followed by music. No one will mind if you are running late, and you can enter the rear of the sanctuary if you prefer.

What Should I Wear?

Many churches advertise ‘come as you are,’ but at Bethel we mean it and live it. Whether you wear a suit and tie, pant suit, jeans, or shorts, there will be people dressed like you. We do recommend a smile, but don’t insist you wear one – we like to think God hands one out at the end of the service!

What Do You Offer For Children?

We provide an excellent and lovingly-staffed nursery for babies and young children, and a separate classroom for preschoolers. Parents are welcome to check their child into either the nursery or preschool classroom prior to the worship service. Both rooms are located within twenty feet of the sanctuary, and parents are welcome to return at any time to check on their child.

Students – children in kindergarten through high school – always join the adults for the first half of the worship service. Most weeks, as the message begins, adult leaders usher students to the student classrooms for a separate time of instruction. We encourage parents to decide whether they want their child to remain in the worship service for the message, or to join with other students their age. Children of any age are welcome to remain with parents during the entire service.

What Kind of Worship Do You Offer?

Usually people want to know what kind of music is featured throughout a service. You would probably describe our music as a blend of traditional and contemporary, with a blend of special music, congregational singing, and choir music. Our goal musically is to provide ‘something for everyone’.

What Do You Believe?

We encourage you to read Our Beliefs for what the majority of our attenders believe. You will find our beliefs refer to major issues that Christians from various times, cultures, and backgrounds would agree with.
